White Noise 31

On the 28th of May 2021, we held a special Live Coding/Algorithmic edition, which was student led and curated by Arthur Wilson. The event was live-streamed at was broadcasted from a studio' living space in Brighton where several students came together to create a live event that was streamed online

There was an open call for submissions from across RCA for those interested in performing or submitting a video of a live performance that interacted with code or algorithms for creative output.

Submissions were open to works using platforms including—but not limited to—Tidal Cycles, SuperCollider, FoxDot, SonicPi, Max/MSP, PureData, Processing, Ableton Live, Hydra, and beyond. Performances could follow the traditional format of displaying code or computer programs while making music and/or video, but experimental formats and unique performance styles were also welcomed.
