The 43rd edition was an important moment as this was the launch of our record label and the release of our second compilation album featuring 10 artists and musicians. The album come out of an open call for audio works responding to the theme of degradation, the process in which the beauty or quality is destroyed or spoiled. We looked for experimental submissions that freely interpret the theme, up to 4 minutes long. The album is released on cassette and can be bought digitally on Bandcamp. The event took place at Iklectik and nearly sold out.

The evening started with a video made by Chun Chun, Yanyan Sun and Zijing Xia that didn’t make it onto the album yet deserved some extra attention as the curation team did value this submission. The sonic piece by Kristina Kapilin and Ojasvani Dahiya was played on the sound system. The work explores the relationship between rivers, cities and people, illustrating commonalities and differences of the perception of rivers across the world.  @8ryan.w did a liveset strongly related to the submission he did for the album. @stopstartin and @jessescrolling did a collaboration and made it feel so intimate by bringing the audience and the performers so close to each other. @barneykass did an audiovisual performance and the evening was finished of with an ambient performance by Straywool.
