White Noise 55
The 55th edition of White Noise, taking place as part of B.AIT WEST, was a great success. This time the event took place over 2 days on the 31 January and 01 February.
The Saturday was a more classic type of event where we had planned 4 gigs by 4 curators. White Noise brought in Phoebe Massey, who delivered a beautiful show. The whole afternoon was well attended and flowed really well.

Day 02 featured over 40 artists playing throughout the building at once. Each floor had a different focus related to volume levels. The lower floor focused on low volumes and this space turned out really well. All performers seemed very much in tune with each other, leading to a very well-curated experience.
Plans for the next edition are already in place and we will be able to update you soon with more information. Sunghoon Song was commissioned to document the Sunday edition, which turned out really well. He created a video for each floor.
The hallway worked really well on the ground floor, which focused on medium volume levels. A highlight was seeing people finding nice spaces between bits and bobs of artists’ storage and the cloud installation.
The top floor was loud and seemed to work really well overall, but it was less visited as it was a bit harder for people to find.
